Iconic Instruments releases SP140 Plate Reverb for VST/AU

-
Iconic Instruments

Iconic Instruments has announced the release of SP140 Plate Reverb, the company's first VST/AU plugin, and its first software effect. The plugin takes on five different models of German plate reverb, and combines the sought-after reverb character with some modern functionality.

A Density control reins in the 'richness' of the plate's character, giving the option to fit it into a mix in a different way from simply filtering and leveling. A Drive control is placed pre or post reverb, with filtering on board. Width can be controlled for the reverb input and output, with a fully collapsed width behaving true to a real mono plate. The reverb output can also be panned.

Features:

  • Five models of classic plate reverb in one plugin.
  • Unique Density control offers an additional way to dial down the reverb tone.
  • Convenient 'send circuit' options: pre-delay, send width, high/low filters and bell.
  • Set reverb tail time from 6 seconds down to 20 milliseconds.
  • Drive control with amount, pre/post reverb, filtering.
  • Reverb Width control with true mono plate response.
  • Reverb Pan control.
  • Mix control with 'solo' switch to output reverb only.
  • 20 carefully crafted presets.
  • VST2.4, VST3 and Audio Units plugin for PC and Mac.

SP140 Plate Reverb is available now from Iconic Instruments for $39, rising to the standard price of $59 after April 15th.
