Jeff McClintock has released version 1.1850 of the modular plug-in development environment SynthEdit.

Summary of changes in v1.1:

  • Over 60 New modules including attractive resizable keyboard, full set of conversion modules, polyphonic scope module, and sample playback module with choice of 4 quality settings.
  • Improved multi-core stability for compatibility with multi-threaded DAWs like Cubase and FL Studio.
  • MIDI learn - Controls now have learn, unlearn, and Set MIDI controllers.
  • New MIDI Controller support for pitch-bend, note-on/off, and SYSEX.
  • Improved voice stealing - With configurable voice overlap and/or hold-back. 3 voice allocation modes (Hard, Soft, Overlap).
  • Customizable Tool tips and Right-click menus - for better User-Interfaces.
  • MIDI SYSEX support.
  • MIDI Tuning Support for microtonal music.
  • Faster screen update for smoother animation.
  • Many bug fixes for better stability in more hosts.
  • Updated SDK with more power to tweak SynthEdit than ever before.
