Juno Ju-X has released an updated version of Gimmick, a synthesizer plug-in for Mac OS X. Now it also comes with a standalone version too.
Highlights:
- Gimmick is now semi-modular-ed. Newly added modulator section lets you move the oscillator handle points neatly.
- Plus FM synthesis. You can even frequency-modulate Gimmick oscillator. So you can use a waveform that you create as a carrier operator.
- Comes with Standalone and AU plugin. Standalone base has been designed from scratch to avoid all possible intermediates and latency.
Price: $40.00 (MSRP). The free download runs in Demo mode until licensed. Demo limitation is that it moves sliders automatically at random time at random range.
