Muletone Audio has released Brazilian Series: Tam Tam for Kontakt 5.5.
The Tantã is a percussive instrument consisting of a cylindrical type of side drum similar to the Brazilian atabaque with a wooden or aluminum shaft. It has an animal or polyester skin drum head on only one of its sides. Its diameter can vary though the most used one is the 12" tantã also called rebolo in Brazil.
The libraries include control over individual session microphones. A user can mix 3 distinct microphones in different positions providing more freedom and timbre options in the song. The microphones can even be controlled within the loops.
Grooves were recorded in 3 different tempos. Each of them with typical Brazilian rhythms from traditional samba to slower beats.
