Music Marketing has announced that the new P2 panel computer from MusicXPC is now shipping to retailers across North America. The P2 premiered at the 2008 Winter NAMM show and was one of the most popular products in the Music Marketing booth.

Behind the 22" screen of the P2 are a Core 2 Duo processor running on a 1066 MHz FSB, 2GB of custom RAM, 570GB of onboard drive storage, and clever details like an internal socket to keep your USB dongles safe and secure. Recent performance tests yielded such results as 20 simultaneous Roomworks reverbs in Cubase 4 (24-bit/44.1) and 55 stereo 24/96 tracks running from the internal drives. The full range of results will be available when the newly redesigned MusicXPC.com website goes live in May 2008.
