MusiKernel Team has announced the 15.10 release of MusiKernel, a music production solution for Linux and Windows featuring a suite of integrated hosts and plugins.
Changes since 15.09.1
Windows:
- Implement support for ASIO audio interface drivers.
- Fix a crash at startup on German and possibly other languages (thanks jens for reporting and helping to troubleshoot).
- Fix bad audio drivers crashing MusiKernel at startup (it may still be necessary to restart MusiKernel if the device did not make itself available).
- Fix file browsers not being able to browse drives other than C:\ (thanks luxcreative1 for reporting).
Daw-Next:
- Prevent zero-length items from being accidentally created in the sequencer (thanks luxcreative1 for reporting).
Way-V:
- Better sounding additive oscillators (doesn't change the sound of existing presets that use additive oscillators).
New plugin: Ray-V 2:
- Based on Ray-V, but with many new features and improved sound quality.
- New engine with oversampling and anti-aliasing, with only a modest increase in CPU from the original Ray-V.
All:
- Various bug fixes and performance improvements.
