Noise Engineering releases Bundle 2: Manis Iteritas, Loquelic Vereor, and Imitor

Eurorack manufacturer Noise Engineering jumped into the world of plugins last year with their free Freequel pack and earlier this year with Bundle 1, each with three plugins based on their modular products. Now they're back with three new plugins that sound unlike anything in your current software music-production arsenal.

Bundle 2, like Bundle 1, includes two synths and an effect:

  • Loquelic Vereor is based on the module Loquelic Iteritas Percido. It's built around interpretations of three classic synthesis algorithms (VOSIM, summation synthesis, and phase modulation) parameterized onto a complex-oscillator structure with two pitch and four tone controls to help it cut through any mix.
  • Manis Iteritas is based on the module of the same name. Designed to be gritty and aggressive (think industrial music in a box), it will surprise you with just how sparkly and pretty it can sound too. Built on the concepts of additive, subtractive, and FM synthesis, Manis Iteritas is a shapeshifter.
  • Imitor is a remarkably versatile multitap delay that can do all your standard delay duties, but also begs you to experiment with it. Based on Imitor Versio, the effects platform module, Imitor required the most tweaks. It went from 12 to 32 taps and, with the interface afforded by the plugin version, the team added tons of control to allow you to shape your delays.

Notable features:

  • Inspired by the popular Eurorack module: bridge the gap between the sounds of modular and your DAW production.
  • Easy to automate, user-friendly controls. Easy to use, but synth enthusiasts will love the simple-yet-powerful interface.
  • Create sounds using unique interpretations of classic and fresh, unique synthesis algorithms.
  • Complex internal modulation: route macro controls, step sequencers, envelopes, random values, and powerful LFOs to almost any parameter.
  • Tooltips.

  • Easy-to-use MIDI learn.

  • MPE compatibility.

  • Complex MIDI mappings include velocity and polyphonic aftertouch.

  • Customize the interface to your liking: change the color, add fire, resize the window, and more.

  • Loads of presets included to get you started or use the Random button to generate new patches in one click.

Manis Iteritas:

  • Choose between complex phase modulation or additive synthesis structures.
  • Great for abstract percussion, bass, leads, and effects.
  • Shape your sounds with controls like Saw Mod, Profundity, Bash, and Smash.

Loquelic Vereor:

  • Unique complex-oscillator architecture makes complex sound design a breeze.
  • West-coast inspired: bring wavefolding, wavemorphing, cross modulation, and other unique sonic tools to your productions, no hardware required.
  • Features an analog-inspired resonant multimode gate for subtractive timbral shaping.
  • Control dynamics and modulate timbre with a four-stage ADSR or unique two-stage Percido envelope.
  • Add width to your sounds with a vintage-inspired chorus.

Imitor:

  • Wide delay time range from below 1ms to 1.5s between taps.
  • Use a single tap for traditional echos, or add in up to 32 taps for complex delay patterns.
  • Tap display shows tap structure and visualizes echos for easy tweaking.
  • Disable taps and use the flexible panning, dynamics, and timing controls to create wild echo patterns.
  • Add tap modulation for stereo width and vintage effects.
  • Sync to host tempo with flexible time divisions: create triplets, dotted notes, or straight rhythms.
  • Use millisecond delay times to create comb filters, flangers, and other wild effects.
  • Change echo timbre with the resonant DJ-style filter, or the Shimmer and Doom feedback effects.
  • Add warmth and flavor or outright distortion with the Crunch output effect.

Bundle 2 is available for $119.00 from Noise Engineering.
