Radium Audio updates Radium Music Editor to v5.9.49

-
Radium Audio

Radium Audio has updated Radium for Linux, macOS, and Windows to v5.9.49.

Radium is a vertical music editor. It's inspired by trackers, but uses more graphics to show musical data. Radium is also a multitracker and supports MIDI sequencing and hard disk recording.

Radium has features like smooth scrolling, zooming, automation, piano roll, modular mixer, embedded Pure Data (Pd), and embedded Faust.

Changes since 5.7.8:

  • Overall: 1107 changes. [1] Lots of bug fixes, lots of minor improvements, and some major improvements.
  • GUI: Made the user interface more straight forward, faster to use, and easier to learn.
  • GUI: Popup menus have been cleaned up and also extended with new functions.
  • Sequencer: Support granulation of audio files. All parameters can also be automated.
  • Sequencer: Sound file stretch automation.
  • Sequencer: Sound file speed automation.
  • Sequencer: Markers.
  • Sequencer: Tempo and time signatures can be defined in the sequencer instead of the editor.
  • Sequencer: Simpler grid interface.
  • Sequencer: Add volume slider and mute button for editor tracks.
  • Sequencer: New convenient browsers for dragging editor blocks and audio files into the sequencer.
  • Keyboard: Make the Space/Enter/Return keys behave more like they do in other DAWs.
  • Editor: The sampler instrument has granulation effects.
  • Audio: Lots of improvements to modulators, MIDI learn, automation, and other things.

Full change log: github.com/kmatheussen/radium/blob/master/Changelog.

Price: Download/upgrade access costs 2-10 EUR per month or 20-100 EUR per year. Note that Radium is not rental software, the period you pay for is only the period you have upgrade access.
