Rayzoon has released version 1.7 of Jamstix, implementing many enhancements and fixes. The demo version of Jamstix has also been updated to version 1.7 and utilizes a new demo drum kit that is based on DrumPak #1 sounds.
The focus of this update is an improved audio engine that reduces CPU usage and the addition of the brand-new 'Keyboard Jam' mode. Aside from this, there are dozens of additions and enhancements, new rhythms, new automation parameters as well as several bug fixes.

- New 'Keyboard Jam' mode allows controlling rhythm changes, fills and performance aspects with a MIDI keyboard.
- Improved synch-to-host.
- Advanced fill options with automation support.
- Improved ambience shaping plus new 'Dampening' control.
- Extended hihat controls and logic.
- 20 new rhythms.
- Fixed increasing CPU usage in Podium and forte.
- Fixed Jamstix freezing sometimes in certain hosts if no default sounds are installed.
