Relab has released the Maselec MEA-2 Precision Stereo EQ plug-in, a product born from a collaboration with engineer Leif Mases. This plug-in aims to deliver the precision and craftsmanship of the iconic hardware unit.

The Maselec MEA-2 plug-in offers a hand-tuned asymmetrical Unique Q (Bandwidth) design and broad shelving, setting it apart from the ordinary. This EQ plug-in has evolved for a modern workflow, boasting features like M/S per band and more. One of the standout features is the MEA-2's broad shelving, which spans a wider frequency range, resulting in a more pleasant listening experience for both highs and lows.

In addition to its sonic capabilities, the MEA-2 plug-in offers a range of modern workflow enhancements, including Stereo Links Per Band, Balance Control, Advanced Preset Management, Resizable GUI, and more.

They say:

The Maselec MEA-2 Plug-in by Relab is closer to the original hardware reference than any two units are to each other. Experience the Exactness Of Advanced Machine Learning The iconic Maselec MEA-2 EQ wasn't just emulated; it was meticulously recreated. Through Relab's cutting-edge machine learning and robotics technology, every nuance was captured from a custom built, one-of-a-kind unit provided by Leif himself. Where others might settle, we pushed further... capturing over 2.9 million data points, and achieving a near-perfect match with a maximum deviation of just 0.018 dB. Once you try this plug-in, you'll immediately feel like you're using the legendary hardware (without the hefty price tag).

To celebrate the launch, Relab is offering an exclusive introductory price of just $149 for a limited time, a significant discount from the standard price of $199.
