RJ Studios has released Advancer, a plugin that does the opposite of a delay. Advancer can push sounds forward in time (with respect to other tracks in your DAW) by means of your DAW's latency compensation mechanism.
Features:
- Up to 50mS of pre-echo.
- Choice of Full Band or Dual Band mode (separated by a linear phase crossover).
- 4 choices of operation when inserted on stereo tracks (Normal, Stereo Middle, Stereo Sides, Left or Right).
- Separate Wet and Dry controls allowing adding in the pre-delay effects without changing the original source level.
- Output I/O Trim for adjusting overall plugin I/O (for level matching).
- Polarity inversion buttons.
- Mono and stereo channel applications.
Benefits:
- Time correcting multiple microphones at different distances.
- Generating stereo from mono.
- Stereo track widening.
- Generating pre-echos for flams and "ghost" notes.
- Sweeten audio in mastering by pushing selected frequencies forward in time.
- Simple doubling.
- Phase aligning left/right channels in tape dubs.
- Generating manual "Jet Plane" flanging effects exactly where you want them (via DAW automation of two controls).
- And more.
Advancer is a 64-bit plugin in VST, VST3 and AAX formats for Windows PC and VST, VST3, AAX and AU formats for Mac OS 10.11+ on Intel and Apple Silicon.
Price: $24.95 - It is offered at an introductory price of $19.95 (plus tax where applicable) until the end of May 2023. Free 14-day trial demos are available for download at RJ Studio's website.
