Sagan Technology updates Metro for Windows to v7.6 including support for CLAP, VST 3 and more
Sagan Technology has updated the Windows version of Metro to v7.6 which adds support for CLAP, VST 3 and more.
Metro 7.6 DAW brings:
- Support for the new CLAP plug-in standard including MIDI dialects; raw MIDI and Clap MIDI, sample accurate automation, the 2nd draft of preset discovery, multiple plug-ins inside a .CLAP file and more.
- Support for VST2 shell plug-ins and the ability to expose the shell's contents in the plug-in window.
- Support for VST3 via the use of the free shell plug-ins "vsti3shell" and "vstshell".
- Direct support for little endian files including .WAV and little endian .AIF.
- Full support for the Ogg Vorbis file type.
- Support for Windows Media Foundation. This allows the reading of many more audio file types (especially for the x64 version).
- Complete batch audio file conversions from mp3, wav, aif, ogg, flac, m4a, wma, etc., to mp3, wav, aif, ogg, flac and more via the jukebox window.
