Sample Logic

Sample Logic has announced the availability of Cinemorphx — "bringing the future to the present" as a cinematic virtual instrument library fit for sound design, music production, and more as the latest release in its lengthening line of sample-based virtual instruments powered by Native Instruments' Kontakt Player platform.

Cinemorphx is built on the framework of Cinematic Guitars Infinity, the powerful cinematic virtual instrument. Here the sample material from Sample Logic's legacy Ambience • Impacts • Rhythms (A.I.R.), The Elements Exp, and Synergy X virtual instruments are integrated into a single, state-of-the-art Kontakt library with all-new sound design, presets, and effects functionality for a totally reinvented production experience. Fit for cinematic sound design, music production, and much more besides, Cinemorphx weighs in at over 30GB with 6,000-plus presets professionally programmed from scratch for instantaneous inspiration.

Over time, what began almost a decade ago with the aforementioned Ambience • Impacts • Rhythms (A.I.R.) — a set of score tool instruments geared for film, TV, and game composers, which was one of Native Instruments' first ever Kontakt Player partner products — and continued through The Elements Exp — a 14GB direct-download Kontakt Player-based sample library of over 2,000 instruments that provides the six 'elements' of music (Ambience, Bass, Harmony, Impacts, Melody, and Rhythm) — and Synergy X — a collection of over 1,600 innovative instruments, tempo-synced loops, and multis weighing in at over 20GB and delivering diverse cinematic sampling with an inspirational user interface — releases has come to a head with Cinemorphx. Creatively reworking, re-morphing, and recreating over 30GB of its finest cinematic sample material, Sample Logic say they have "succeeded in assembling the finest cinematic virtual instrument available anywhere — past, present, or future".

Cinemorphx's 6,000-plus presets have been freshly fashioned to make full use of Sample Logic's innovations — namely, the Step Animator sequencing engine, with arpeggiation and sequencing delivered right to the user's fingertips, and Morph Animator engine, to which this virtual instrument library owes its futuristic name, and which allows for simultaneous morphing of up to eight unique so-called 'Soundsources' running through four Soundcores to create infinite blends at any given time. To further whet the appetite of even the most seasoned sound designer, Cinemorphx allows the Soundcore FX and Master FX chain to be built and reordered in realtime from a selection of over 20 studio-quality effects, including Comp. (compressor), EQ, Saturator, Phaser, Delay, and Reverb — hot-swappable effects, in other words.

Sample Logic has equipped the colorful Cinemorphx user interface with over a dozen parameters for randomization, allowing anyone to rapidly tap into trillions of starting point combinations with creative effects. Simply arm the randomization feature - the intelligent randomization technology is "guaranteed generate instantaneous inspirational results — every time".

Cinemorphx can be ordered online and directly downloaded from Sample Logic for a time-limited introductory discounted price of $499.99 — rising to $599.99 thereafter — from: www.samplelogic.com/products/cinemorphx (Cross-grade pricing is available to owners of Ambience • Impacts • Rhythms (A.I.R.), The Elements Exp, and Synergy X to the tune of an additional $100.00 off the discounted introductory price for each product previously purchased, so owners of all three would qualify for a time-limited purchase price of only $199.99).
