Sony has updated ACID Pro to v5.0b and Sound Forge to v8.0a.
Notable Changes/Fixes in ACID Pro v5.0b:
- You can now view thumbnails for video and image files in the Media Manager window.
- You can now view and edit media properties in the Properties pane of the Media Manager window. Right-click a file and choose Show Properties Pane to show or hide the window.
- A new button has been added to the Search Pane of the Media Manager window. Select the View Items Not Matching Search Criteria button if you want to invert your search terms. For example, if you'd searched on the "Bongo" tag, selecting this button will display all media that does not contain the "Bongo" tag.
- You can now add media to a media library by dropping files and folders on the Media Manager window.
- When you set the stretching method in the Track Properties window to Fixed segments, green beat markers represent the points where silence will be inserted to accomplish stretching. Stretch-only markers (normally displayed in orange) are not used in this mode and are now displayed in gray.
