SynthFont has been updated to version 1.060 and VSTSynthFont has been updated to version 1.005.
SynthFont v1.060
New features:
- When you change the default SoundFont you are given the option to change it for all tracks using the previous default at the same time.
- The Sound File Open dialog displays a list of available presets to the right. In many cases you can select the Preset already here.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed some more VST instrument related problems:
- Better sync between SoundFont sounds and VST instrument sounds.
- A certain combination of VST Instruments and Bus Effects would make some Instruments silent while some played).
- The Mixer Position function did not work with VST Instruments.
- GIGA files were not correctly interpreted.
- DLS files were not correctly interpreted.
- Removed the Breath Controller (#2) function as it was not compatible with SoundBlaster live or Audigy.
- Fixed some User Banks related problems.
- If the Arrangement folder path (Setup/Options) was undefined the Arrangement would not be saved ('Save As' did work).
- The Pianoroll and Events panes were not visible when they should have been - Group files where not correctly read.
- In some cases the song length was incorrectly computed.
- Fixed notes hanging when looping.
- Fixed a problem with SoundFonts having bad envelope parameters.
- Output to MP3 or OGG will automatically always be 16 bit samples.
- Fixed some memory leaks.
- Fixed some midi file reading issues.
- SynthFont can now read 24 bit SoundFonts (but data is still treated as 16 bit).
- Fixed most other bugs reported by Eurekalog.
