The Very Loud Indeed Co. releases Shift: Hybrid Scoring Transitions for Kontakt
Responding to the demand for musical transitions from media composers, sound design boutique company The Very Loud Indeed Co. has released a sample library that specifically addresses that need. Shift: Hybrid Scoring Transitions is a collection of 320 carefully crafted and curated musical transitions, which have been designed to be stackable, automatically sync to any tempo and can be used over a key range of one and a half octaves.
Developed by veteran sound designer for videogames and The Very Loud Indeed Co.'s founder Richie Nieto, Shift allows composers to bridge different sections of a music piece seamlessly or to enhance musical accents. Created from real instrument recordings combined with synthesized sounds in true hybrid fashion, Shift is well suited for multiple genres, from police drama to action to horror.
The library includes features like dynamic filtering via velocity, easy MIDI note positioning which allows the user to hit transition points very precisely, and a fast and intuitive one-page GUI.
Shift: Hybrid Scoring Transitions runs in the full version of Native Instruments' Kontakt 6.7 or later. The library requires 2GB of disk space.
