Waves Audio has announced that third-party plugins from Plugin Alliance now run with Waves SoundGrid through Waves Public API (WPAPI). Thus Waves continues to widen the range of plugins for use in studio and live settings with SoundGrid on all consoles.
Mick Olesh, Waves Executive VP, notes, "Waves strongly supports the goal of providing practical means to identify equipment conformity and interoperability. We are dedicated in enabling our customers the freedom to use their plugin products anywhere and everywhere. This cooperation with Plug-in Alliance is the first of more to come."
Dirk Ulrich, CEO, Plugin Alliance LLC, says, "We are very excited to present the results of our new cooperation with Waves. Brainworx Germany is the development team behind the Plugin Alliance, and bringing Brainworx titles like the bx_digita V2, SPL Transient Designer, Maag EQ4 and many more to Waves studio and live systems is an amazing step forward for us. We look forward to hearing our plugins in the studio and on stage with Waves."
