Wire Grind has released Fuzzoa, a new VST 3 distortion plugin for Windows. Here's what they say:
Fuzzoa's primary distinguishing feature is its sidechain. The sidechain controls a waveshaper, which gives the distortion strong time-varying characteristics. Distortion effects are normally non-reactive, and they change very little with time.
Fuzzoa has seven mixing mode options. These combine the sidechain and the input in different ways, and they give shape to the time-varying characteristics. A look-ahead parameter time-shifts the characteristics, and it can improve how the final sound sits in the mix.
