Yamaha has announced SEQTRAK, their new all-in-one production system, featuring drums, synths, sound design tools, and sequencing. The compact and lightweight design of SEQTRAK allows users to access these capabilities wherever they may be. The device features fast workflow concepts, allowing users to capture ideas swiftly with its clear 3-part interface and real-time controls. This minimizes the need for menu navigation and facilitates rapid creative expression.
SEQTRAK boasts a sound library with over 2,000 presets, including a wide array of professionally crafted sounds such as pianos, synths, and drums. Regular updates to the SEQTRAK app will further enhance this library. The onboard sampling function of SEQTRAK is another highlight, featuring seven sound slots and a variety of effects. This allows users to capture and transform their unique sound samples easily, supporting high-quality 44.1 kHz/16-bit format.
Designed for music creation on the go, SEQTRAK is equipped with a built-in speaker and microphone, a rechargeable battery, and is easily portable. Its design is ideal for use in various settings, from studios to stages, without the need for power outlets or dealing with tangled cables.
SEQTRAK's sound engines include an AWM2 engine, offering 128-note polyphony and realistic sounds like pianos and guitars, and a four-operator FM engine for synth pads, bass and leads. The device also features a comprehensive effects suite.
The sequencer in SEQTRAK enables intuitive composition, arrangement, and playback. The included SEQTRAK app provides an intuitive graphic user interface for precise sound editing, encompassing envelopes, filters, and effect manipulation. SEQTRAK's connectivity options include Bluetooth MIDI, Wi-Fi, MIDI In/Out, USB-C, and AUX In.
SEQTRAK offers a unique visualizer via the app that transforms music into a captivating visual experience, including an Augmented Reality (AR) mode for integrating 3D virtual objects into live videos.
