ZAK Sound has updated the Sapphire Guitar plugin, introducing improvements in samples, design and functionality for a better experience.
Previously, the free plugin was called "Sapphire Guitar" and the paid expansion was "New Horizon". Now the "New Horizon" expansion became the Sapphire Guitar Max version of the plugin. It's the same, but in another format.
So Sapphire Guitar has two versions now, one free (Essential) and one paid (Max).
The Essential version includes 18 instruments and the Max includes 77 instruments. All features and controls are exactly the same in both versions.
Sapphire Guitar Improvements:
- New FX and controls: New effects panel with drive, reverb, delay and chorus.
- New design: Slightly modified design to incorporate the new features.
- Improved Samples: EQ improvement and some bug fixes.
- Change of some presets: Some presets were removed, and others were added.
Users who purchased the New Horizon expansion have free access to Sapphire Guitar Max.
The Essential version is free, the Max version is $25. Both versions are available for Windows and macOS in VST3 and AU formats.
