ProjectSAM's Adaptive Runs is an intuitive orchestral library that enables you to add dynamic runs to your compositions across strings, woodwinds and brass sections. The plugin is powered by the flexible and powerful Adaptive Sync engine, which synchronises runs to the next downbeat, or in line with any custom number of beats or seconds.
The orchestral runs were expertly recorded in the same concert hall setting as ProjectSAM's flagship libraries for six sections: High Strings, Low Strings, High Winds, Low Winds, Solo Piccolo and Trumpets. All performed in unison, the combinations include:
Runs can be modified according to beats and fully synced to the host tempo, and their range, direction and tonal characteristics can also be adapted and harnessed using velocity, CC or keyswitching. A sustain pedal feature allows you to automatically bounce runs up and down. If it's not quite gelling, Downbeat mode instructs the Adaptive Sync engine to pick the best matching run for you.
Finally, take further control of the overall impact of Adaptive Runs' large database of recorded orchestral runs by creating your own microphone mix. The library comes with four individual mic channels: Close, Stage, Far and Wide, and a pre-mixed option for the perfect blend.
Adaptive Runs belongs to ProjectSam's Colours series, which also includes Animator and Orchestrator.
