RealiDrums

I have used Realidrums now for 5 years as far as I can remember. During that time, I keep on thinking that I will graduate on to another product, but I still keep coming back to Realidrums because it 'just works'.

The limited patterns seem a restriction, but by playing with the options of complexity, and integrating fills, I always get a result I am happy with. I do find the fills are mostly caveman type with few simple snare biased fills, but a quick bit of editing and move the tom strikes to the snare and it is done.

The samples are not over processed, so, by using plugins on a multitrack output, I can get a more personalised sound that I couldn't get with fully mix ready sounds.

I tried EZ Drummer and it has been mostly unused - not helped by multiple licencing and installation issues that Realidrums does not suffer from.

The tech support, on the one occasion I used it, was very speedy and helpful.
