Tonelib-metal (from the makers of the amazing Tonelib-GFX) delivers in terms of it's amp sims, there are a few of them but support for additional effects is lacking. If I wanted to do a hardcore song with a clean delay/chorus intro, I would need a separate plugin. Tonelib-Metal attempts to give an appearance of other modern AMP sims (like amplitube or guitar rig) at the expense of usability, at smaller screen resolutions the knobs are harder to read, especially on their cab sim. This software is fairly new and feels incomplete when compared to GFX. Currently there is no online repository for presets. This works very well as a standalone or VST but I feel this needs more time to mature. I suggest trying the demo of both METAL and GFX if you are in the market for an affordable amp/fx solution. At their humble price point you will not find anything better than these. To the developer: I would LOVE to see Tonelib-METAL offered as an EXPANSION for Tonelib-GFX.
