Diva stands for "Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue Synthesizer".

The reason for such an interesting name is because many of the components that make up Diva (filters, oscillators, envelopes) are modeled after many of the great hardware synthesizers of all time.

Having owned many of these original hardware synthesizers, the goal with "Vintage World" was to use these modeled elements to recreate the vintage sounds often associated with the Electronic music of the vintage era.

Considerable time went into every preset contained within "Vintage World".
The idea was to not only create sounds from the Vintage era of Electronica, but also the way these sounds were controlled with the original hardware.

Because of this, we designed each patch to make use of the mod and pitch wheels much like the presets did included with the original hardware synthesizers.

Vintage World includes 103 presets that accurately recreate not only the sounds of the Vintage Era, but also the playability of vintage hardware.
