Endorsed by Tom Oberheim himself, the synth sounds fantastic and is able to emulate all the well known classic OB-X patches along with with much more due to the extra modern features and 16 voices. The CC MIDI control interface is intuitive and very easy to map to a hardware keyboard or controller. Already my new favourite soft synth which is sitting beside some other excellent go to soft synths from Roland Cloud Ultimate, Korg Collection 4, Cherry Audio GX-80 and Dune 3.

Incredibly huge and complex timbre capabilities. Versatile beyond limitation for sound design. Solid presets to get going and an intuitive UI full of unique features. Highly recommend.

With the Imperial White Tie theme and the comprehensive suite of ReaPlugins, Reaper is a fully fledged industry standard DAW without limits. The learning curve is not steep but with so many useful features and regular updates, the gradual slope continues to climb as desired. The subprojects feature is a must have for any CPU intense, massively layered tracks and effects for more complex sound design, soundtrack and professional audio work.
