Embertone is Alex Davis and Jonathan Churchill.

Alex Davis is a composer who works in a totally gluten free environment. His wife makes amazing vegan cookies that you simply would not believe. "How can THAT be gluten free?" ... is a question he often asks himself.
Jonathan Churchill is slowly taking over the universe. His meticulous nature and obsession for detail is surpassed only by his obsession for hot sauce, video games and ping pong.

But seriously... we love what we do. Our mission is simple: sample the shit out of lots of great instruments, and bring them to you to inspire awesome new music. We love Tonehammer, Sample Modeling, Sonic Couture, companies that have led the way to this new age of deeply sampled virtual instruments. It's our goal to help move that tradition forward, to find new ways to capture the essence of an instrument, and to program it in an intuitive and responsive package. And, of course, to offer to the composing community at a really, really low price.

You've put a great deal of work into a free product. I can't thank you enough because quite often I like to combine choir plug-ins so as to create something really full and realistic. You made that possible. I wish you well with your service and may you do well in your business. - DSPplug.

It's fun to attempt to play Deck the Halls. The impressionism art background is highly inspiring and moves when you play the notes. The samples are also very high quality human gobble sounds, much better than a rooster or chicken could ever do, better than a turkey as well. I prefer human gobble gobble rather than gobble turkey gobble gobble. Gobble gobble is gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble.

Intimate Strings LITE

Small but very very useful.

The quality of sound is very good and the patch has a small ensemble playing in unison, so the result is very organic and at the same time it keeps a small footprint.

Sometimes the legato script makes the patch to sound a bit "lazy" but if you put two patches, one legato and one not, you'll achieve a very live like ensemble.

Works with full version of Kontakt, so I guess you can liven up a little the default strings using this library and get the best out of both.

Also, it's free, what can you want more?
