Avid has announced the launch of the M-Audio and Digidesign Listen Up! World Tour 2009.

The 2009 Listen Up! World Tour offers customers a chance to learn new studio production techniques, meet top recording artists and interact with "A-list" engineers in a small, intimate group setting. Each event takes place at a world-class recording studio—giving attendees an exclusive look inside a high-end professional facility. M-Audio and Digidesign will be on hand showcasing the latest in music technology, including a live studio monitor listening experience. Customers will learn valuable techniques for mixing and mastering music, plus advanced Pro Tools 8 tips and tricks. There will even be exclusive gear discounts and special product offers for attendees only.

Although this event is free, space is extremely limited—those interested are encouraged to RSVP now for chance to attend this "one-of-a-kind" workshop.

The tour starts May 7th, 2009, in San Francisco and continues throughout the year.

Where:

  • San Francisco, CA, May 7, Pyramind.
  • New York City, NY, May 12, The Cutting Room.
  • Miami, FL, May 19, South Beach Studios @ Marlin.
  • Los Angeles, CA, May 26, Sanctum Studios.

All events take place from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

Additional Listen Up! World Tour stops are scheduled throughout the US as well as France, Germany, the United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
