Cherry Audio releases Harmonia, their latest original synthesizer

-
Cherry Audio

Cherry Audio has announced the release of Harmonia, a new virtual instrument that merges elements of vector and wave sequencing synthesizers from the 80s and 90s with modern synthesis techniques and an intuitive interface. Created by the team behind Dreamsynth and Sines synthesizers, Harmonia produces rich, evolving polyphonic sounds suitable for both newcomers and experienced musicians.

Utilizing additive synthesis, each of Harmonia's two sample-based oscillators offers up to eight pitches tuned to harmonic series or semitone intervals. Pitch harmonics can be fixed or dynamic, and a distinctive interpolated harmonic scanning feature allows for sweeping and melodic sequences through a single modulatable slider.

Harmonia provides an extensive range of meticulously sampled waveforms from various synthesizers, traditional instruments, and voices, along with "lo-fi" sounds. It also allows users to effortlessly import their own samples and create unique tones by blending waveform selection and harmonic presets.

The instrument features versatile tone sculpting tools, including four syncable polyphonic LFOs, a wide stereo multimode filter, and user-friendly click-and-drag filter and amp envelopes. An extensive eight-slot mod matrix with numerous sources and destinations offers flexibility for innovative music production.

Harmonia encompasses Cherry Audio's signature features, such as aftertouch support, flexible MIDI mapping, and a selection of over 350 presets. The instrument incorporates 17 studio-quality effects, including distortion, modulation, echo, and reverb, all modulatable through the matrix.

The Euphonic Sonics for Harmonia Preset Pack is also available separately, presenting 100 additional presets showcasing Harmonia's atmospheric tones, sequences, pads, basses, synths, keys, and more.

Harmonia is priced on intro offer at $49 (list $69). The instrument is accessible through cherryaudio.com and authorized resellers worldwide, such as the KVR Marketplace.

Harmonia supports AU, VST, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats for macOS (10.13 and above) and Windows (7 or above, including Windows 11), with native compatibility for Apple's M1 processor. A free 30-day demo is offered at cherryaudio.com
