Exponential Audio has announced that version 1.1.2 of M7Control is now available. There are lots of bug fixes, but the big news is support on Windows for Pro Tools 12.5.1.
Avid has added a bit of under-the-hood magic to allow Exponential Audio to bypass their normal MIDI manager. Only Pro Tools 12.5.1 or later is supported. It is unlikely this will ever extend to older versions. The technique is covered in the M7Control User Guide, but you can also see a short how-to video right here
Other fixes include support for diacriticals in preset names, fixes in preset import, automation and many others. As always, the update is free to all license holders. The new version can be downloaded here.
