Press Play has released Wave Observer Pro, the advanced version of the oscilloscope and monitoring plug-in for time-domain audio analysis.
In addition to the features of the free version of Wave Observer, the new plug-in offers an extended time range of up to 16 seconds and dark color themes which are particularly good for working at night. There are more features under active development, e.g. a threshold indicator, side chain input, zen mode and advanced metering. Those features will be made available as part of the subsequent updates.
Wave Observer has been updated as well. The new version 1.3.0 comes with code-signed binaries on Windows and updated color schemes and fixes a bug with state reloading of VST2 plug-ins (visit the changelog).
Pricing
Wave Observer Pro is exclusively available via the Press Play Patreon Page. There are different tiers to choose from, starting at 5€ (6.50$) per month (+VAT). Each tier has a dedicated set of benefits, but all of them include access to the download links for the installers.
There is no minimum subscription period. You can cancel your subscription at any time (immediately if you want to) without losing the license to use the version of Wave Observer Pro you obtained when subscribing. However, only active subscribers are entitled to get the latest updates.
