Rob Papen has announced the release of Quad, originally released as a Rack Extension synthesizer for Reason, as a VST/AU/AAX virtual instrument plug-in for macOS and Windows.
Rob says the sonic palette is huge, through the vast modulation possibilities that Quad has to offer.
The sound sculpting tools start in each Oscillator and are the Phase Distortion and WaveShaper. These tools are brought to life by 2 XY-Pads in each Oscillator, which can be moved through an extensive modulation matrix.
Quad's Oscillators are complemented by two analog-modeled Filters, which have different routing options, an arpeggiator, and two high-quality effects processors.
Quad is delivered with over 750 presets.
Intro Price: €79 / $79 until June 1, 2020 (Reg. €99 / $99).
Quad is included in the latest version of the eXplorer 6 bundle, while owners of the original RE version of Quad can crossgrade to the AAX-, AU-, and VST-compatible version of QUAD for a 50% discount by sending a copy of the purchase receipt or account screenshot to: info@robpapen.com.
A 30-day demo version of QUAD with only one introductory sound bank and all bank and preset loading/saving functionality disabled is available from here: robpapen.com/Quad-vst-demo
