SKnote has released F76 FET compressor. They say:
F76 is a detailed model of "the famous one". FET compression, fast action, snappy.
It was modelled at component level for greatest detail, also adding a couple of special features like complete control on combinations of pressed Ratio buttons (hold "Shift" for that.) and a control on the headroom of the preamplifier stage (that, being in the feedback loop, strongly interacts with compression. Try about 70% Headroom with all-buttons-in on drums).
It is great on drums, vocals, guitars, bass, piano and all sources where some character is useful.
It features SKnote's new registration system that makes registration transparent and immediate and also manages a full-featured, no-restrictions, Demo mode. Just set and go. It will be fully-functional for 14 days from the first use.
Main features:
- Component-level model of the original hardware.
- Full control on all possible combinations of Ratio buttons (including the famous "All-in" setting).
- Extra control for preamplifier "Headroom", for fine control on interaction between feedback compression and stage saturation.
- Extra control for sample-aligned mixing between processed and dry signal, for parallel compression.
- Auto-gain function, the output volume automatically matches output to input level (no ear-fooling by levels).
- Simple to use.
- Simple preset management with copy-paste and clear-text option (share presets as text).
- Resize-able interface (VST3/AU).
Price: $39.99.
