SVAr software has released SVArTracker, a new modular VST/DirectX supporting tracker application for Windows. SVArTracker costs $100 / €85 / £57; a demo version is available. Read on for the feature overview:
Pattern Editor
- Customizable view.
- Change track order, hide tracks and/or rows.
- Restructure input mask for up to 9 notes and 9 effect columns per track.
Virtual Studio Scheme Editor
- Can load VST, VSTi, and DirectX DMO plugins.
- Allows complex connections between placed sound components.
- Routing of wave and control signal as you wish.
- Cut/Copy/Paste enabled.
Pattern Order Editor
- Place patterns one by one or in parallel.
- Stretch pattern duration, transpose notes, set repeat count, apply volume curve.
Flow Editor (static automation)
- Allows parameter automation.
- Create & place parameter change curves in the time line.
- Ability to stretch curve, add or remove points while playing.
Effect Processor (dynamic automation)
- Build complex automation for parameters and organize them on the tasks palette.
- Tasks can be used as effects in the pattern effect column.
Function Variator
- Customize pattern hot keys for built-in functions (volume slide, shrink/expand selection, iterate instrument, transpose notes in selection...).
Audio Engine
- All internal operations are 32-bit floating point, except calculations requiring 64-bit floating-point precision.
Output
- DirectX wave and MIDI driver output.
- Renders wave file (PCM16 PCM32 FLOAT32 at 22100-196000 Hz).
