ZAK Sound has released an update for the Endless Clouds 2 instrument, bringing it to version 2.5, which they've dubbed 2x.
This update comes with several improvements. Notably, it introduces an independent double-layer engine, allowing users to select and combine each layer according to their preferences. Other additions include an A/B volume slider, individual layer transport controls, and more.
The new version was labeled 2x due to the inclusion of several internal changes, ensuring it won't overwrite the existing version when installed. This approach allows existing Endless Clouds 2 users to retain their old projects while adding the new version.
All the new features are:
- Independent Dual Layer Engine: Now users can choose each layer of the A/B engine.
- Layer Transport Function: Each layer can be adjusted by up to 2 octaves within its playback range.
- Two graphic XY pads with filters.
- Graphic equalizer and master controls like limiter, compressor, and stereo width adjustment.
- Interface Size Adjustment: Users can customize the graphical interface's size.
- Overall Pitch Control: Lets you set the plugin's overall pitch in semitones.
- 106 Presets: The update brings a host of new presets for immediate use.
