Does not convince me much. What I hear, reminds me more of a late 1960's fuzzbox than of any authentic real tube saturation and harmonics.
Tube should not distort! They should thicken a sound, enrich it and increase harmonics reproduction and gain level. But, the secret for every good tube circuit is, to avoid every distortion or fuzz. The opposite I hear here.
Good tube circuit simulations sound different to me, real tube gear anyway. Even a simple Valvecaster in front of my audio interface sounds better and more naturally to me. But also completely different in comparison with this plugin. A top-notch gear like eg. a Kaluna anyway.
Tested, but nothing for me.

My favourite of this developer's free offerings. Aside from looking nice and clean (I'm sure smarter people than me know the actual unit this is based off of), it's incredibly simple to use and very difficult to make it sound bad. I like to use it on guitars and there's minimal pumping etc. even without much tweaking.

A nice gentle compressor that's really easy to use. My only real issue with it is that adding makeup gain causes the meter to bounce around above 0dB, so it's a bit difficult to tell how much gain reduction is actually going on. The interface is clean, easy to read and pretty self-explanatory, so you can get started pretty much straight away. I also recommend the developer's other plugins, especially their RLC79 compressor.
