NI are expanding the oft-forgotten Komplete Now to 3 tiers of Komplete 360:

Essentials- £130pa, £13pm
Studio - £220pa, £22pm
Pro - £440pa, £44pm

What's in each tier is here - https://support.native-instruments.com/ ... 1697058044

Main page here, just a sign up page for now for me in the UK - https://www.native-instruments.com/en/s ... scription/

MOST IMPORTANTLY - before anyone gets hysterical, this will not replace permanent licenses. From an NI forum thread in December:
We have no plans to stop offering our software via perpetual licences.

For many folks — including a lot of our existing customers - perpetual licences is how they want to pay for access NI software.

But other people prefer the flexibility and low up-front costs of subscription.

We have offered Komplete Now (our existing subscription plan) for several years now and have tens of thousands of happy customers. Many of them have gone on to purchase perpetual Komplete and that’s cool with us.

NI has no plans to stop offering our software via perpetual licences

REAKTOR is good, but unless you're just using it as a Player, it's basically a developer tool.

Most users basically use full REAKTOR no differently to how they use REAKTOR Player, except maybe they'll use User Library content - assuming they even know that exists.

Can't sell it for much. REAKTOR 6 was recently in a $70 product bundle that everyone I know knew about, and it's practically maintenance mode, anyway.

REAKTOR is not the product to buy for synth patch building. Synth workstations like HALion/Falcon/Phase Plant/Omnisphere/Vengeance, etc. were always the superior option for that.

If I said you are blocked, I won't see your posts. Please kindly refrain from quoting or replying to me.
"Notifications for Nothing" are annoying. Blocking me in return is a good way to avoid this.

That's quite a narrow view. I would call it a sandbox. From basic element editing, to layered patches..it's all possible in Reaktor.

We are probably looking at the end of the road for Reaktor and Massive now. Neither are in any sub, and none of the Reaktor synths are either. Damn shame.

I have a lot of stuff that I don't use for years, and then pull it up to use again. Not a cold chance in hell that I'd pay monthly or yearly for it.

Nope, the roadmap seems to be more clear. NI is hardware, Kontakt and they intend to pump out rompler content likely because the expansion packs did well, and I’m guessing they’ll phase those out in favor of Kontakt only libraries.

Still guessing, they’ll rely on PA and Izotope to provide plugins and synths moving forward (but not likely to include older NI stuff).

Kontakt 7 only at Pro Level (for 50$) is something else.

And the plus and pro levels don't really lineup with komplete, ultimate and collectors. It's more like a weird mix.
