Intermittent hissing on one track on Mulab 5.5.1

I know it's an older version of Mulab but it's been great until now,
just one of my files has intermittent hissing on it, all the others are fine.
Sounds like the Soft noise from the demo version but can't be sure.

I'll attach a wav file, it tends to come and go every 10 seconds or so.

As pljones suggested, check the splash screen upon startup, or via MULAB -> Info -> About MuLab
It should show your user name at the bottom right.

I can hear the white noise in the linked audio file. It's at a very low amplitude. Doesn't seem like there's any envelope on it to smooth it either.

Yeah no envelope, it just starts and stops squarely. I'll get MULab 7 tonight anyway and see if that fixes it, maybe it's just a crap plugin I'm using. I did use a DSK one on that track, and they're always bad.

Okay sorry, no there's no DSK plugins, I was wrong. There's a few (10) instances of EW Play and the rest (another 6 or 7) are Mutools plugins.

It doesn't happen only as the track is playing or recording, it starts as soon as the instruments load.

And one ZynAddSubFX plugin... I've tried muting all of them one by one and waiting but it persists.

It's an anomaly, I doubt it can be reproduced. Was an experimental thing anyway, I'll move on... Thanks.
