Free beta period for Beat Builder, a new beat replacer plugin by Stagecraft Software

For the past few months, we've been working hard creating a new beat replacer plugin called Beat Builder.

The concept is simple — it first listens to a given beat, using audio fingerprinting to detect parts like the snare, kick, high hat, so on. Then it provides users with various options to replace and augment the beat to make it their own, by changing the replacements samples or layering on effects to the mix.

Users can completely depend on the algorithm to decide where the beats go, requiring little input; alternatively, there are options to change the scope of the algorithm so that it's more loose or strict, or manually input where beats should be replaced. At the moment, Beat Builder is still in development. However, users who get the downloadable beta will have a chance to try it out and provide feedback before its public release. Licenses will be perpetual, even after Beat Builder exits the beta phase.
