Geniesoft has released version 4.0.2 patch 8 of Overture 4 for Windows.
Changes:
- Audio engine can now write a 16 bit file or 24 bit file. The 24 bit file is written in "wave extensible format". This is the expected format for Windows Media Player. Note: Some wave editors might refuse this format.
- Fixed problem with screen redraw when step inputting chords.
- Fixed a problem with playback after reading Overture 2 files.
- Fixed several lyric importing problems including importing Karaoke files.
- Fixed midi file export problem that created very long tracks.
- Fixed some scrolling display problems during playback.
- Lyrics are now written when exporting a MIDI file.
- Fixed crash bug when importing some MIDI files.
- Staccatissmo articulations now point toward the note at all times and the shape has changed a bit.
- Fixed channel assignment problems in Insert Track and Track Properties dialogs.
- Expressions and articulations on notes are now remapped to track's default settings when copied to a different track.
