GPU Audio announce their long-awaited SDK: Create Your Own Next Generation Audio Processing Tools

GPU Audio

GPU Audio have officially announced their Software Development Kit to explore the capabilities of using GPUs for audio processing. Anyone can sign up for access to the SDK, either as an individual or company representative by completing this online form.

Their technology allows developers to Unlock Creative Potential, Expand Artistic Horizons, and Open A New Era of Creativity. Through these tools, we're unlocking advancements in accelerated computing, spatial audio processing, game audio, machine learning, and AI.

The GPU Audio SDK is made up of four main components: GPU Audio Component (the audio processing engine), Processor API (numerous interfaces for creating audio processors), DSP API (interfaces for using audio processors) and the DSP Components Library (example components). These elements are hosted privately on the GPU Audio GitHub page - with support currently provided for Windows machines with NVIDIA GPUs.

Later in the year GPU Audio will release the LTS (Long Term Support) Version of the SDK. The main goal of this LTS SDK platform is to provide a set of interfaces that have a determined set of features and target platforms with guarantees on backward compatibility. This allows partners and vendors to detach the update cycles of their products from the update cycles of the GPU AUDIO platform.

GPU Audio LTS SDK Features:

  • Increased platform support for AMD, Mac OS X, and M-silicon GPUs;
  • Unified interfaces for multiple platform support;
  • End-user ability to run applications of multiple vendors simultaneously on the same GPU;
  • Extended DSP library;
  • GPU-based Solution for real-time inference for Machine Learning workflows;

Use cases for the SDK include: Low-Latency Multichannel Processing, Dynamic Spatial Reverbs, Room Simulation, Acoustic Room Correction, Multichannel Sound Synthesis, Real-Time Inferencing of Complex Models and ML-enabled workflows (such as harmonizing multiple instruments), and much more.

Sign up for the GPU Audio SDK today by completing this form.

We invite developers and businesses to evaluate the SDK and provide feedback on its development. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your journey with the GPU Audio SDK is smooth and productive. If you have any questions, encounter any challenges, please don't hesitate to contact us here support@gpu.audio.

We look forward to all potential collaborations and the extraordinary next-generation projects ahead. Sign up for the GPU Audio SDK to start practising with our interfaces and make your first builds today.
