New GPU Audio Partnerships - Vienna Symphonic Library, MNTRA and Mach1 using GPU power

GPU Audio have announced three brand new partners who will be working alongside the company to realise products which harness the GPU powered technology. The companies reflect a range of disciplines and illustrate the benefits of implementing GPU Audio technology to enhance and accelerate the length and breadth of audio experiences.

Vienna Symphonic Library

VSL is one of the leading developers of research-driven music software and sample libraries based in Vienna, Austria. Their goal is to create the most advanced virtual instruments to help composers, orchestrators and music producers realise their visions, get their ideas across and make themselves heard.

Vienna's finest musicians and software developers are dedicated to creating easy to use tools with absolute authenticity and musicality - resulting in music creation which isn't limited by technology or influenced by the computer know-how of the user. VSL continues to innovate, inspire artists and excite them to transform their musical ideas into reality.

MNTRA

Mntra is a small team of passionate creatives handcrafting a new generation of virtual instruments from our studio in Montreal. Their instruments are designed with performance in mind - and house a vast number of sonic capabilities within their Arca, Atma, Huracan, Caprakan and Orakle X instruments..

MNTRA founder Brian D'Oliveira's (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard) has amassed a vast collection of one-of-a-kind instruments, assembled during his many travels across the globe. His dedication to studying the ancient performance techniques of these unique instruments, combined with their leading-edge ultrasonic sampling workflow, allows these instruments to be heard in an entirely new way.

Mach1
Mach1 are taking advantage of GPU power to give users access to flexible spatial and multichannel audio mixing. Their Mach1 Spatial System will be a groundbreaking free tool, with a cross-platform workflow which democratizes access to the existing products on the market,

Mach1 Spatial System is a multichannel and spatial audio framework for the community to develop standards and best practices, allowing users to confidently deliver spatial or multichannel audio of any existing specification now or in the future. An accompanying series of Pro-Tier paid plugins are also being designed and developed.
