Leverkühn Apps has released EarProg, an app for iOS offers ear training for chord progressions.
The app is divided into 3 sections:
- Standard: Where you can work out chord progressions that are the most used in pop-rock music over the past 75 years. Basic movements of 2 and 3 chords that are the basis of more complex structures.
- Four Chords: Here you will have access to the study of a careful selection of chord progressions with 4 chords. Very common in choruses, intros...
- Minor: Chord progressions in the minor tonality. This kind of progressions is very common in contemporary music.
The app has a total of 60 chord progressions to be studied, and a screen from which to access audio samples of all available chord progressions so that they can be listened to and absorbed by the human ear. The entire app has been developed with the intention of training the ear in a progressive way.
