New Audio Technology announces Spatial Audio Designer and Spatial Sound Card v2.0 - Public Beta Available

New Audio Technology has announced new versions of their flagship products.

Both applications, the Spatial Audio Designer and the Spatial Sound Card Pro, will be available as Version 2 soon. Both have entered public beta now.

New in Spatial Audio Designer v2:

  • Support for all the latest operating systems, including Mac OS Sierra and Windows 10.
  • Supports AAX and VST3 on MAC and PC.
  • Panner GUI in the Send Module.
  • New and scaleable GUI.
  • Input level display.
  • Improved mouse over parameter display.
  • Overall workflow enhancements.
  • New locations.
  • Direct controller access via MIDI, OSC and EMBER+ (in final version).
  • Enhanced processing, needs less CPU power.
  • Some bug-fixes.
  • Free upgrade for every license owner.

A brief look at the roadmap of the Spatial Audio Designer:

  • The official release of the Spatial Audio Designer Version 2 will be available in a new, extended version that offers object-based workflows and export.
  • The first supported format will be MPEG-H. A complete workflow, monitoring and export of MPEG-H masters are available in any DAW in the market for the first time.

What's new in the Spatial Sound Card Version 2:

  • Support for all the latest operating systems, including Mac OS Sierra and Windows 10.
  • Enhanced processing, needs less CPU power.
  • New locations.
  • GUI enhancements.
  • Improved mouse over parameter display.
  • "Latency Target Setting" - allows managing CPU consumption and enables proper working with more external devices.
  • Some bug-fixes.
  • Free upgrade for every license owner.

Both products are available as public beta today.

To install the new versions you need to generate a new installer in your account with "public beta" selected in the drop-down menu and install it over your current version.
