New Audio Technology has announced the release of version 3 of the Spatial Audio Designer In-One plug-in.
The Spatial Audio Designer (SAD) In-One is the little brother of the SAD Producer version. It's a discrete plug-in mainly for monitoring purposes providing virtual studio environments origins from high-end binaural measurements. However an audio or music producer needs good monitors like on the go, needs surround or immersive audio monitoring, just with regular headphones the SAD In-One overs this all instantly.
Close to 70 virtual stereo studios allow the creation of mixes that finally work as intended on real loudspeaker systems. Instant cross-checks help to prove the reliability of a mix quickly.
Surround 5.1 and 7.1 are standard, especially for online, BD/DVD, and TV distribution. But it still much affords to set up such a system. The SAD In-One can simply be inserted into the surround master bus of a digital audio workstation (DAW) or video workstation, to create reliable mixes just with regular headphones.
