Orchestral Tools has released Arkanum, an update to Drones featuring 33 entirely new patches meticulously crafted by Alexander Hacke. In light of this update, a special discount is being offered on the entire Drones collection. Existing owners of the Drones will receive the Arkanum update at no additional cost.
Arkanum enriches Drones with a selection of dark, immersive sounds, each containing layers that allow for expressive transitions from one sound to another through the use of the modwheel, making the new drone patches playable and versatile.
To mark the occasion, Orchestral Tools is offering the complete Drones collection at a promotional price of €119, down from its regular price of €189, until March 6. For those interested solely in the Arkanum instrument group, it is available separately for €33 from the Orchestral Tools website.
