sonicPlanet has updated Creation to version 1.3.
Creation is a 3D sound design tool offering the principal dynamics of our universe. The user gains the architect's role by creating dialogues in a 3D simulation scene based on gravitational interaction.
The free update adds the following features:
- TimeWarp mode: Creation v1.3 delivers the entropy reading of its current state. Meaning that, it gives a value according the speed of the objects and randomness of their movement. After setting the min. and max. values of entropy limits, the TimeWarp mode will slow or speed up the system time, so that the entropy reading falls inside these limits when it is exceeded. One can think of it like a compressor / expander, not on audio levels but on the entropy reading. As a result, you will obtain object movement speed changes similar to smooth accelerando / decelerando.
- Radial and Random initial force: We can apply radial directional force, so that the objects can create circular orbits around the masses depending on the initial force amount. We can also set the Random direction mode together, so that the objects establish their circular paths on horizontal or vertical planes randomly.
- Creation Remote has been updated to support these new features.
- The manual has been revised accordingly.
- Some color modifications have been made.
Creation is a standalone application for OS X and Windows (minimum an Apple Silicon M1 or equivalent CPU is needed). It comes with Creation Remote VST/AU plugin which lets you control the Creation app inside a DAW and apply automation data.
