sonicPlanet has updated StarWaves, a 3D audio-visual sound app creating dynamic textures and soundscapes within 3D interaction, to v1.3.
This free update brings new features and add-ons:
- StarWaves can now use tuning scales for quantizing its pitch modulation. Each StarWaves waveform platform can have its own tuning scale, and the sample base frequency can be typed in / and modulated.
- Improved sequencer panel design.
- The theme FOV slider acts with floating point precision and can be used on smooth scene transitions.
- ThemePark contains the additional "Mars" theme with a dedicated preset.
- The new Laurent Mialon abstract IDM preset bank (12 presets) is available as in app purchase for 8.99USD.
StarWaves v1.3 is available on Apple AppStore bundled both for OS X and iOS platforms. The price is 19.99USD but will increase to 29.99USD by beginning of August 2022.
