GreenHAAS is one of those rare plugins that is so simple and intuitive to use, but is so musical and accomplishes so many things at once that it feels like cheating! The saturation section of GreenHAAS is the first thing that struck me. There are many many saturation plugins that either model analog gear or try to add tonal character, but they often sound hard edged and harsh or just fuzzy. Somehow the harmonics of the saturation in GreenHAAS never sound harsh and can be applied to nuanced and bright sources with great results. From vocals to hi hats to acoustic guitars, the saturation is always musical and adds tons of vibe and presence. The HAAS delay section is a fantastic tool for widening a source and moving it out of the center to make room for other instruments in a mix, and it can add that magic width to vocals and harmonies in no time. When used in conjunction with the modulation section I've gotten results in minutes that would otherwise mean spending lots of time rigging up auxes with choruses, flangers, and delays. Being able to automate all those effects from one plugin is a huge time saver too! I love that there are no numbers in the fun botanical themed GUI, it invites you to dive in and play without listening with your eyes and wondering if something is "too much" before you hear it. This plugin is so easy to use that it has led me to try things I've never tried before, HAAS delay and chorus on hi hats? Modulation on bass? Flanging on percussion? GreenHAAS makes it so quick to try things that it has become a powerful new creative tool for me. Just like a great instrument rigged up by a pro and ready to play in the studio, this plugin invites you to play and experiment without fighting the technical side. It gives you big sounds that inspire new creative techniques and approaches. You can't do much better than that.

Being a lucky beta tester, I've had the opportunity to work with GreenHAAS for around two weeks now.

It's one of those plugins you can throw on your insert tracks to give them a special seasoning.

You got a cool melody but its lacking that kind of magic and won't sit in the mix?

Give GreenHAAS a try and you'll get some crazy good results by just using the presets.

It breathes life into basic sounds and it also helps your mixes considering depth and width.

You can also create total madness if you decide to dive in deeper with the saturation/distortion.

And for that price its a no brainer.

Great Job Mixing Night Audio.

Thanks so much, Sebastian!! We think there's nothing to add to that :).

OMG, what can I say, WOW! Having a blast with GreenHAAS on my first play with it. Just sticking it on tracks and scrolling the presets is finding me some pretty dope sounds. Thank you Mixing Night Audio! Can't wait to get some vocals down and stick this bad boy on them! Great plugin.

This plugin simply makes boring sounds cool and more interesting. It takes sounds from flat to having dimension. It inspires creativity. The best thing is that it is never clinical. It always adds vibe. I typically use 3 - 10 instances of it on a mix. It's one plugin that you don't have to "know" how to use. Just grab knobs and turn until something cool happens. Or toggle through the presets and you'll find something you like. I have to go now...I have to go use GreenHaass. :).

Wow, thanks Bob Horn for your awesome feedback!!! These words coming from you are absolutely priceless.

GreenHAAS is now my go-to for special effects and saturation on bass, drums, guitars, synths, and vocals. The interface is very easy to use and comes with a lot of useful presets. I highly recommend this plugin to anyone.

If any plugin is going to make your head spin, make it this one.

As well as allowing you to adjust the 'spread' of the Haas effect, GreenHAAS is packed with numerous saturators and modulators, giving you the ability to inject life into a sterile mix and make your tracks blossom. Use just one of these functions or combine to taste.

For me, GreenHAAS is about having fun and experimenting. Open this plugin up, twist a few knobs, play with the GUI and see what it sounds like! If you're a mixing engineer, this plugin might inspire some new ideas. If you're a producer, it could warp a sound in a way you never thought was possible (or easy to accomplish).

Overall, if you're looking to save the planet, this plugin is not for you. But if you're looking for vibe, then look no further.

No matter what i write here, it won't convince you, or excite you as much as trying it. Width on demand, check. A batch of flowers full of instant flavour, check. Saturation and a plant monster, also check. Not only has this been a time saver, but it has inspired the rest of my mixes pretty often. Dang Ken.

Dang!! Thanks for using and loving our plugin.

Full disclosure: I was involved in the alpha and beta testing of GreenHAAS. If I hadn't liked it from the beginning, however, I wouldn't bother to write a review.

This plugin is an instant inspiration box for that not-quite-popping track in your session and has quickly become a staple on my vocal tracks. The comic-y UI without numerical values definitely helps you "use your ears" and even with the wildest processing its CPU usage is very light. If you're looking for an "instant smile generator", look no further.

Thank you, Ace! Very happy to read your great feedback! So cool our plugin makes you smile :) I mean, who can resist that beautiful sun face?

A plugin with magical properties. I've had the honor of beta testing this plugin a few weeks now and I couldn't be more in love. Behind it's fun and quirky graphics is an absolute monster width/coloring box. Honestly, I don't know exactly what it's doing, I just know it's awesome. My ears like it. The plugin is broken up into two sides, one I refer to as giving character and distortion, it has a low pass and high pass filter too, all of it very pleasing to the ear. The right side is some sort of space aged width processor, this thing is 3d glasses for audio. The plugin is chock-full of options, and I genuinely find it fun to use and a great addition to my DAW.

Response from mixingnightaudio from Mixing Night Audio on September 27th, 2021

Thanks AudiophileEngineer for your very descriptive review. LOVE the "3D glasses for audio" part, and we couldn't agree more with you on this choice of words :).

GreenHAAS is pure awesomeness. It's a plugin that combines the basic audio 'theories' (delay, saturation, and so on ...) that every one uses when mixing in to one plugin. I really like that there's no numeric values on any of the settings. It allows one to concentrate on the music and not the science. It's been useful in a panoramic variety of situations, many more that originally expected. So simple, so effective, It's truly a must have plugin.

Response from mixingnightaudio from Mixing Night Audio on September 26th, 2021

Thanks, thrasher!! You're spot on with your feedback as far as our philosophy behind the plugin: removing the science so people can really concentrate on emotion and feel...on the music basically.

GreenHAAS became my new favorite plugin the second I opened it up.

The fun UI. The ability to quickly dial in a sound. Saving presets.

I've used GreenHAAS on everything; drums, bass, 808, synths, piano, strings, horns, vocals, and EVERYTHING else.

Saturation. Phasing. Flanging. HAAS effect. And more.

I highly recommend GreenHAAS for any music producer, composer, beatmaker, musician, audio engineer, or any other music creator.

Check it out and see what GreenHAAS can do for you.

Response from mixingnightaudio from Mixing Night Audio on September 26th, 2021

I was fortunate enough to win a beta copy through Ken Lewis' You Tube channel Mixing Night (check it out - so much great free content for producers/mixers/artists) so I have been using it extensively for the past month or so and am really impressed.

I have Effects Rack By Soundtoys, Movement by Output, Multipass by Kilohearts (and all their excellent plugins), Eventide Harmonisers etc and this gets used all the time in front of those.

One of the best things is, it's so lightweight, that you can put it on every channel. I had over 50 going for a test and only used 15% processor.

What does it do?

In my words: Saturation, modulation and stereo width - while maintaining mono compatibility. Nothing groundbreaking you would think. But it's how it does it. The word vibe is in the marketing but it's spot on. You can hear for yourself on the demo videos. But it's how it sounds in my mixes that matters. And it sounds great. I've won another competition since i got it, and the feedback on my mix was positive (i'm generally a rubbish mixer!) It's the fact that there's no values, and you just have to dial it in with your ears that really works for me.

Response from mixingnightaudio from Mixing Night Audio on September 26th, 2021

Wow!! Being compared (and used in front of) all these great plugins you mention, that's a great compliment. Thanks so much for that. And it's amazing to hear that GreenHAAS actually does for you exactly what's intended to do - make you more creative in your productions and mixes! Keep up the great work.
