Soundbytes recently released version 1.0 of HurdyGurdy and updated the LE version to v1.0.1. As development took a bit longer than anticipated the introductory pricing has been extended. Until December 30th, 2006 you can save up to 35% on the original price of €38.
This final release of HurdyGurdy v1.0 includes a number of important enhancements and bug fixes:
- The MIDI out signal from the HurdyGurdy can now be used to trigger another VSTi or an external sound source. A Cubase project that illustrate the new feature is available. Further examples for different VST hosts will be made available shortly.
- The HurdyGurdy can now be used with arbitrary sample rates (earlier versions only worked correctly at 44.1 kHz).
- Glitches that occurred when switching the drone output have been removed (finally).
- All drop down lists in the panel have been replaced with sliders that allow to conveniently scroll through the available options.
HurdyGurdyLE v1.0.1 also includes a number of important enhancements and bug fixes:
- The HurdyGurdy comes now with a different set of knobs. Panel size has been reduced to save precious screen space.
- The HurdyGurdyLE can now be used with arbitrary sample rates (earlier versions only worked correctly at 44.1 kHz).
- The new installer now includes the HurdyGurdy Demo (the difference in file size to the previous installer is still only a few hundred kB).
